I will not be driving my Mav for about 9 months. What do i need to do to ensure it will start when i get back? Are there 2 batteries or just 1? Fuel additive? When reconnecting battery, what won't work?

There are plenty of efficient languages to write in. I think it is the process & the people writing the code that is the issue; possibly the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing (HW vs SW). This topic is WAY old...Ford is definitely not listening to their customers.
Is the software update available OTA or do I need to take it in? You know the one where you have to sit in your garage ALL DAY with the engine "on" (draining your battery) and connected to your home WiFi ????
I've been told not to back up because the dolly will get away from you real fast & you'll find yourself in a bad angle unable to get out of. I'm not sure if there is a mechanical reason associated with the car.
I didn't think about that when I did mine. I did a large empty parking lot test before leaving and it came close to a fender to fender bump, but didn't. Guess I had it strapped down so hard it couldn't move. Next time I'll lock the steering wheel for sure.
I've got a 24 Lariat & thought it came with 4k towing package, but I checked the sticker, the back bumper, dash...apparently I don't, so that means 2k towing for me....thx for the clarification. Haven't needed to tow anything, so it wasn't a priority to find out....HA! Now I know
