First Maverick Hybrids to be delivered tomorrow December 9, 2021

My Maverick Hybrid is at the Dallas (Mesquite) Intermodal Terminal waiting on a vehicle carrier to take it to the dealership in Frisco TX 36 miles away.

On Dec 7th at 9:26 PM ET the train has arrived at the final train destination: the Dallas Yard (Mesquite TX).

I spoke to my dealer in Brownsburg, IN, and they haven't received any Hybrids yet. I ordered mine in August and haven't received any news except the order is in but no VIN or build date. Hybrid Lariat FE Rapid Red.

There is a railhead holding location in Chicago Heights, a South Suburb of Chicago that has had at least 10 Hybrid Mavericks sitting there for at least the past 3 weeks. The address is approx 270 State Street zip 60411 if you want to google it. You can see them through the fence but its hard to tell how many there are. My brother-in-law called me to tell me about them while doing his company deliveries down the street. I believe Ford intentionally had these built, shipped and stored, waiting at railheads across the USA ready to be delivered on or about the same day which was 12-8 like they had originally stated. I think many people will get their trucks this week.

If it was closer I'd go take a ride over there.

Mine is enroute, ETA Wendle Ford in Spokane 12/24-12/28. They say mine is expected to be their first hybrid. I was secretly hoping I would be first on these boards to get mine, but it was doubtful.

The lady at Ford did ask me if I had the Ford Pass app and said I could track it that way. I told her I tried it but it timed out with no one clicking "accept" in the vehicle. She told me to go to the Maverick truck club and a guy there knew how to do it. So, guy, what's the secret trick?

Man, thanks for sharing! That's great to know. That means there's at least a chance I might actually get a build date for my Lariat 1st edition in the near future. I ordered at the beginning of August.

I ordered my first XLT,LUX,CGRAY 8/27, have heard nothing.

Amen to that! I would be over joyed if mine were just scheduled to be built. Haven't heard a peep since my order confirmation on July 14th (except for the Email that offered a free FITS kit because of the delay).

Fingers crossed a lot of us hear something tomorrow!

Lmao. All I did was hit activate.. Few weeks later Jose was moving the truck and hit the activate button on the screen..

No tricks just luck lol

If you try to activate your Maverick with Ford Pass it just gives you a failure and tells you to start your truck and then try again , I would try but it's about a 4 hour drive west over the Sierras with a storm coming in and no guarantee that I could find it in a big parking lot awaiting a convoy truck to bring it east for me. Besides I wouldn't have a key to start it
