Crazy thing is I haven't seen 1 Maverick on the road yet here, even though I know they have sold. I just can't wait to get scheduled. So very happy for everyone that is getting theirs and definitely looking forward to hybrid owner reviews.

There is a railhead holding location in Chicago Heights, a South Suburb of Chicago that has had at least 10 Hybrid Mavericks sitting there for at least the past 3 weeks. The address is approx 270 State Street zip 60411 if you want to google it. You can see them through the fence but its hard to tell how many there are. My brother-in-law called me to tell me about them while doing his company deliveries down the street. I believe Ford intentionally had these built, shipped and stored, waiting at railheads across the USA ready to be delivered on or about the same day which was 12-8 like they had originally stated. I think many people will get their trucks this week.

If it was closer I'd go take a ride over there.

Man, thanks for sharing! That's great to know. That means there's at least a chance I might actually get a build date for my Lariat 1st edition in the near future. I ordered at the beginning of August.

I'm curious how much time the dealer needs (on average) to inspect for transport damage, do the final prep and shine the vehicle all up before the customer comes in.
@fordvideoguy any insight? And while I'm sure it's rare, how often is there any damage that would need bodywork/paint or such that could really impact the time between delivery to the dealership and sale to the customer?

Depending on how many get dropped off usually a vehicle can get get through inspection in about an hour. Clean didn't take long either. So usually about 24 hour turn around. If there is damage and body Shop needs to get involved then that time can't be estimated. All damage is different depending on what damage there might be. We don't see much in transport damage, the drivers are very careful because that damage cost is on them.

Do you know what the estimated delivery window was on that delivery? I'm guessing and hoping it's arriving before scheduled.

I know it arrived at the dealer yesterday. Not sure what their estimated delivery window was.

That's great for some. I ordered and paid a $500 deposit on June 16, and still not even a damn build date. Come on FORD, please get them built. Please!

Just got off the phone with Ford. Nice Lady, she did confirm my Maverick is indeed still at the factory, but couldn't give me an estimated shipping window. She did say the December 14 delivery shown in the tracker is not going to happen. LOL

I have the Ford pass app activated for my hybrid in Mexico. Right now it's in deep sleep.

The lady at Ford did ask me if I had the Ford Pass app and said I could track it that way. I told her I tried it but it timed out with no one clicking "accept" in the vehicle. She told me to go to the Maverick truck club and a guy there knew how to do it. So, guy, what's the secret trick?
