Tiny issue, but I haven't seen it posted before. The truck only has 28 miles since delivery. My wife drove it to the library and when she started it to head back, the screen lit up with a warning that the windshield washer fluid was low. We have not used the washer, and it seemed fairly full when we checked it. We got about a pint into it, thinking they might have failed to fill it, but the warning screen and light are still on. Seems like either a faulty sensor or an unplugged one.

Anyone seen this before?

Salesman got me an appointment tomorrow morning to get it looked at! Gotta love small dealerships.

My 23’ Lariat Hybrid had it come on about a week after I bought it. I just topped it off completely full and it went away and hasn’t come back.

I've got about 400 miles on my '24 now. Had the same thing happen to me on my second drive, light came on for a little while, went off and has not came back on since.

Thanks everyone for the good experience info. Maybe it will go off on the way to the dealer tomorrow!

I had a 22 Ecoboost and now a 23 hybrid, both have had the low washer fluid light come on erroneously. Just ignore it and it will go away in a day or two.

I had the same experience with my one week old Lariet last October. It has not happened again. Absolutely thrilled to be driving this Vehicle.

Took it in for service and the light stayed on for the trip.

Thanks for posting the resolution, mine popped on again yesterday for a short while.

The tech said it was just hanging together, barely, and not solidly pushed in. I have not checked over the whole truck yet...Made me wish I would have checked the inverter before I brought it in. I forgot about that issue raised in the group. I know there were reports that folks have found their inverters unplugged as well. Too big of a hurry and a little sloppiness, I guess.

Ours did that in about 9-10 days of owning the Maverick.

To be fair we drove it about 3,000 miles by then in rain, snow, ice, melted snow and ice, and blizzards and used a lot of fluid. I found that pouring a gallon of wiper fluid in the wiper fluid plastic container and all over everything near it made the light go back off.

Yeah, my 2024 does that after driving just a few hundred miles. I keep meaning to check it, but I'm not using anyway.

Now I'm a bit annoyed. I looked at the mechanic's work. There are three pins to hold the inner wheel liner in place that he had to pull out to fix the connector. Two pins (top and bottom) are one style of push pin; the middle one is different...at least that is how the unmolested driver's side liner is set up.

I found the liner NOT tucked back in, in the middle, as it should have been; the middle connector hole had the bottom connector stuck in it, and the bottom hole then also had the wrong connector...that wasn't able to be pushed in all the way BECAUSE IT IS THE WRONG ONE!

So....hopefully, they can manage better in the future, but I'll be double-checking their "quality" work.

I hate to admit it but I have avoided dealership repairs for the past 40 years unless mandated. I usually will find a local mechanic who specializes in my car for the repairs I cannot do. Most of us in here are car enthusiasts. We love our trucks, motorcyles, etc. We wax them. We think of ways to make them look a little different than the next person. We pamper them. So when you have to take your car into the dealership, you hope they don't do something that will dissappoint you.

When I took mine in for the Tailight recall and sleep issue, I was hopeful. Got a lyft ride home. But they gave the lyft guy the wrong address. He barely understood me as I tried to explain to him that the address would take me two blocks away from my home. We argued!! Can you believe it?

They called around noon (which was a nice surprise). I got a ride to the dealership. I then waited for them to pull up my truck. I'm 6'2" tall. The person who brought me back my truck was much smaller. My mirrors were jacked up and the drivers seat was push all the way forward and the steering wheel was up all the way. My seat is electrically powered!

So to get in my truck, I had to open the passenger side, reach over and stick my key in the ignition, turn it on, walk around to the drivers side and power my seat back so I could get in! Oh the pleasures of taking your prized possesion to the dealership. We are so lucky!!
