These are the steps I used to add my keys, '23 Lariat without remote start, but should be the same steps on all Lariats.
- Open center console and remove felt bottom
- Place first existing fob in depression
- Push start button (without foot on brake )
- Count to 3, Remove fob, Push ignition off...
You will get a message on the screen saying the maximum number of keys has been reached when you try to add a fifth key. If you're not getting that message then there's likely a different issue preventing the key from being added.
I made up three simple, dummy clips from some of the plastic I had left from filling the gap left by my rear, driver's side mud flap. Thanks to whoever discovered that latching the rear seatbelts would turn off the pop-up.
I tried the chime disable procedure a few times in the back seat with no luck. I'm just going to leave the back belts latched since I rarely have anyone ride back there.
Same for me, 23 Lariat hybrid.
All three rears must be plugged in but not the front passenger. I had previously disabled the seatbelt chime for both front seats using the plug/unplug routine so that may be why the front passenger doesn't have to be plugged in. Is it possible to use the same...
You could "thread" one of these coiled shoe laces around the handle to provide ridges for the hangers sit in, you even have a choice of colors.

No, not on an aluminum tailgate, but on the steel tailgate of the Maverick, it's nice to have.
Kidding aside, it's not really a tailgate assist, it should be called a tailgate damper since all it does is slow the drop of the tailgate. If anything, it makes the tailgate a little heavier to lift...
Remember, you can only have four keys registered with the truck so you only have one slot left, and only the dealer can clear out the registered keys, ask how I know.
I may have misled you in suggesting the Ebay FOB, I failed to consider that you may have remote start which requires a different FOB than my non remote start Lariat. Sorry about that.
I was curious about the ACC sensor, cover and mount so I popped the cover off of mine and it is just snapped on with tabs around the edges. You can also reach in from the edges with the cover in place and feel/push on the sensor. My sensor feels solid with no movement. Here are a few pictures...
I found the thread discussing very similar symptoms to yours:

The final post from the thread:
I think the square, plastic cover over the ACC sensor in the grill just snaps in place, I...
I seem to remember someone having similar issues and it turned out that the ACC sensor behind the grill was loose on its mount, which fits what you describe and makes sense that it would get looser with time/miles.
I had a 22 Ecoboost and now a 23 hybrid, both have had the low washer fluid light come on erroneously. Just ignore it and it will go away in a day or two.
