Or does it know based on the digital fuel gauge that you used 10.0982 gallons instead of the pump reading of 10.0? The pump reading is not any more accurate. To get a true MPG number would need to measure an exact amount of fuel put in and the miles it took to use it up. Hand calculations are not much better than the computer calculations. And in the end does it really matter if the computer is off 1 mpg? You still have to buy the same amount of gas no matter what the calculation is.

true, but i'm an old dude, still keep track of all of it in a log book. coming from wranglers, where the tire size differences can be massive, i was curious if it is possible to change tire size, like the wranglers ?

It is starting to cool off here so I’m not running the ac. Mileage jumped about 3 mpg. Wouldn’t think on a 250 hp engine it would make a difference but it does.

A bit over 1500 miles now on my 25 Lariat. The mpg average for that whole time is 29.8 with mostly highway driving. No bed cover neither so am pretty happy with mileage so far. AC has been on near 100% of the time as well.

In 2025 Ford added multi port injectors to the direct injection to the turbo engines to cut down on carbon build up. The changes they made cut down on the horsepower rating on all their engines to include the police interceptor.
