@Nw_adventure it's complicated. lol
Dont need ?
Yeah our dealer kept our original June order and then in August when we had to change from FWD w/tow package to AWD w/tow package without telling us they placed a separate order with Ford for the second truck.

They used the same order code and accidentally kept our email address on the first order.

We already received the AWD w/tow package Mav we ordered in August back in January and have been happily enjoying it but now we are receiving emails for the original Mav we placed an order for back in June.

Like I mentioned......It's complicated lol.

Here is a couple of pics to help clarify. This is our August order that we thought we placed in June. Notice the order code and VIN.

This is the Mav we originally ordered in June that is now scheduled for production the week of May 9th. Again notice the order code is the same but the VIN is different.

Our dealer took our cancelled Bronco order and turned it into 3 stock orders for themselves. Dealers are getting good at this game.

Haha yeah they are that's for sure. The really funny part is even after we let our salesman know that we were getting these emails for the second truck they still haven't taken our email address off the order.

So now we keep getting these status updates for a truck we don't need. Let me tell you though it's a lot less stressful the second time around when you already have your truck parked in the garage! lol

Checked my status and mine has been built and just shipped. Anyone have any ideas how long shipping takes to Michigan? Best information I can find is 4-6 weeks for shipping…?

That’s a good estimate as long nothing unforeseen happens with shippers.

My truck is xlt without the trailer hitch... So I'm pretty sure there's no holdup on mine that isn't on yours and I ordered a week after you, so this is making me optimistic about getting scheduled with the next batch. Nice.

Still don't understand why some people get emails for every step of the order to build process from Ford and others of us never got anything. I called Ford customer service and they told me my order was in and then said when my Maverick gets scheduled I'll get an email with the VIN #. Well about a week after that phone call, my dealer sent me an email that my Maverick is scheduled for June. But lo and behold, did I get an email from Ford with the VIN? Of course not. 😠
Are all the people that got emails from Ford for all the steps of the process, people that did thier build online before taking it to the dealer rather than a person like me that put the order in at the dealer in person I'm wondering?

I first found out I had a VIN and a build week by asking Ford via chat. Then 2 weeks later I received an email from Ford with a VIN and build week. Your guess on why some did and others did not receive emails is as good as any. I did do my build online and then was contacted by the dealership afterwards.

I got my build week and vin from the chat and never got an email of any kind from ford. I have talked to ford multiple times to confirm my email address is on the order, and it is.
