I don't think you can lose the beep, and there is no on-board navigation. My wife has had to learn how to use the navigation app on her phone, and I just ask her to tell me where to go. At least that is my experience.

Nice, no standard navigation on the 2022 though, I think they added an option for 2023. You'd have to use your phone via Android Auto or Apple CarplayAfter 454 days of waiting from order date to delivery, I finally received my new 2022 Ford Maverick Lariat Area 51 and sold my 2005 Subaru Baja which only had 212,000 miles. I miss it a lot. The two vehicles had to say hello and goodbye, and the Maverick seemed to change colors while I was standing there. So much bigger than my Baja, but I am really enjoying the Maverick, except I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the beep when I back up, and I do not have navigation on my screen, and have not figured out how to get it.

NAV is part of the 2023 Lariat Lux Package. Getting it added helped ease the pain of getting my 2022 VIN cancelled.
