Ordered on Thursday still no email

TLDR: So the email confirmation went almost immediately, but it went to the wrong address, and there it was stopped as spam. What an annoying chain of events

I have a SPAM folder, but I wonder if because Ford was sending out so many at one time it triggered something at Outlook dot com to just flat out block them. Because my dealer confirmed my email is listed correctly.

It could be the COVP thing. But who really knows?

Find another dealer immediately and get your order in with someone who will actually get your order placed with confirmation.

if you check the latest post I did actually find it but the COVP was not entered.

Just received an email from a dealer that I was going to order from (switched and ordered from a different dealer) saying if I still wanted to order a new Maverick I better do it asap as Ford is closing the order banks end of today (Monday). Not sure if he was trying to light a fire under my a$$ or if it is true>

Are you sure the order manager inputted your order. Maybe its still in the in basket.

I sat with order manger while he inputted my order. * hours later my email arrived

Not sure if I’m the only one losing their mind here but the dealer said they supposedly had my order go through but still no email not giving me too many warm and fuzzies. Anyone else going through this also yes seeing the comment I just got my email makes me sad if anyone was wondering lol

I ordered August 2021, order confirmed October 2021, in production 9/23/22, built 9/24/22, and is on its way here, should be here by middle of next month according to my sales guy.

I did not receive a single email or call or text or anything from anyone at Ford. I called me dealership a few times but didn’t have any info to give me. I randomly logged in on Ford’s site one day and saw that it was in production so I’ve been keeping an eye on it now.

So all that being said- you are just gonna have to wait. Most people on this site received little or no communications the whole time they’ve been waiting for their trucks. It could very well be this time next year before your truck goes into production. Could be longer. Could be sooner. If you get on here and start reading posts by other people in your shoes you are going to just get frustrated or angry.

Some dealers are deliberately omitting the customer's email on the order. Mullinax (Kissimmee only), as a practice, will put their email on a customer's order. I recommend confirming with your dealer your order has your email address.

When I put my 23 order back in September, I never got an email confirmation, nor up date email. It's now scheduled to be built and no email. Just check with Ford Chat on Thursdays and you will be fine
