Almost like comparing a C/8 corvette vs a Mazda Miata. They aren't in the same class. Ridgeline is twice the cost, just to start.

Also, the Ridgeline is more medium truck sized (think Ranger or Colorado) than compact. CR also failed to mention that the FWD Maverick can be flat towed - no can do with the Honda. They aren't in the same class. Ridgeline is twice the cost, just to start.

And 29mpg hwy, not likely for a Ridgeline, I believe the they are now rated at 24hwy, they also have the fuel economy figures for the hybrid backwards. The Maverick also scored lower with the reliabilty rating which is not established yet being a new model.13 mpg city???? No thanks Honda.
Curious what they say about the predicted reliability of the Maverick hybrid; it looks like a letter "i" in yellow?
I suspect CR has a few oil industry folks on its board.A $40K Honda is better than a $20K Ford? What a surprise! I remember when Consumer Reports was a trustworthy magazine taking no funds from advertisers and printing the best reviews, comparisons, and buyers' guides around. That was quite a long time ago...
