Engine Light Icon on

I just bought a 2026 Maverick XLT Hybrid truck. The engine light comes on bright white to greyish when driving. I've taken it back ti the dealer and they have found nothing wrong. I did not notice it when purchased but in my second week, I see it is on always, except when the engine is cold. Any ideas?

That white/grey light it telling you the gas engine is on or off. The orange light is the one you need to worry about, and is in a different location.

I just turned that power gauge off, i found myself getting too focused on it.

Whoever decided to have the engine running icon the same as the check engine light icon except a different color should be slapped.

Probably the same guy who decided the fuel gauge shouldnt use a progressive bar and the Mav should have a totally different software package for its gauge cluster even though its the same system as the escape, the bronco sport, the F-150, ece ece ece.
