After reading the post about the dripping oil under the hood and his Maverick exploding I was pretty concerned after 200 miles of my 454 mile trip when my engine light came on after I left the rest area
I took the next exit and pulled into the Walmart parking lot, away from the other cars. I hesitated for a moment and then decided to look under the hood for dripping oil and luckily there wasn’t any
Then I called the Service Manager because I didn’t know what to do. He looked at my truck on the Ford pass, the error code and told me the truck was ok to drive after explaining the sensor was the issue. I felt much better and had no issues on the remaining part of my trip! So grateful Ford folks can look up the current data on my truck and let me know what’s going on so I didn’t have to call roadside assistance! Pretty stress free trip
