The engine cover? hide the dozen wires going over the engine. The strut brace? Makes turning more responsive

I've never understood the whole "engine cover" thing. If you don't want to see the engine, keep the hood closed. If I open the hood, it would likely be to do something that would require removing the cover.

I must be missing something...

Make sure it is the one you want. I got mine from Tasca, and they didn’t have the one pictured… Despite showing the picture.

For me, it's mostly an OCD thing...... the clutter surrounding the engine is total chaos, and the cover makes it all go away. Well, mostly all. 😛

Now, along those lines of not understanding certain mod's, the tailgate struts are still a big mystery to me.... 😱

LOL - but a TRULY "CDO" person (that's OCD, but with the letters in alpha-sequence) would "know" the clutter was still there, and it would keep them up at night...

Tailgate struts are (for me) a thing to keep my grandkids safe when they are playing near the truck. I've got one 5 year-old who just HAS to touch everything, and pull on anything that can be pulled. He's the perfect height to get bonked on the head by the tailgate. But I do have to admit that my wife also likes being able to "one-hand" the tailgate with an armful of groceries or other "stuff" and not have to worry about "abusing the truck" by just dropping it and having it bounce on the cables...

Your right. My grandkid just missed having his head bonked. I got the strut right away after that happened.

It's not a bad thing for some kids to learn things "the hard way"..... 👹

Well, maybe. But not on my watch... Grandpas get to spoil the kids and make their lives happy. All that "parenting" stuff falls into the "been there, done that" category! 🤣

Does anyone know of an engine cover for a 2023 Hybrid?
Yes. Order an engine cover for a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid from your dealer. You will also need to order the two bolts for the rear and the nuts that go with. The bolts thread into the top of the engine. There are already two ball mounts on the front of your engine for the cover.

I built one using Brushed SS with Aluminum Hiem ends and Lincoln Engine Cover
The Ford Cover is no longer available.
