The OCD "my pristine Maverick is scratched" threads are bonkers. Guys, it's a Hobbit Truck. You ever looked at Hobbit feet? They're not covered in shiny Italian leather - they're hairy dirty feet. Your Maverick is a truck. Trucks get scratched. The more scratches on your Hobbit truck, the more likely people will nod their heads in acknowledgement that "yea, I guess maybe it really is a truck".
For the OCD crowd, I have a suggestion. It's not the fact that your Maverick has a scratch that's bugging you. It's that the scratch stands out in isolation. Here's my modest proposal... Buy a flail and have at it all over your interior and bed. Then drive down a gravel road at full speed behind an F-150. Now the scratches, dents and chips will be wonderfully evenly distributed in a randomized pattern and will no longer bother you. Plus, real truck people won't giggle when you drive by. Brilliant!
