Check with your ford dealer. The battery in my 22 was just replaced under warranty as they know the wrong battery were put in early ecoboost mavericks
Just got through taking out a dead flooded battery and installing an agm as was supposed to be all along if they hadn’t ran out during production. At least they didn’t charge me for it although I did it myself.

So why is it so many people are having problems w/ AGM batteries with vehicles that are being operated daily?
I have not heard this before...most of the Mav batteries in 22MY were EFB due to shortage of AGM batteries. I was having problems with my EFB so I replaced it with an AGM battery. No problems with the AGM (Interstate brand from Costco).

My theory is. When the parts bin, runs out of a non critical part, whether it be a glove compartment door damper or an insulating pad for the fender. They don't stop the line. The truck gets moved along and assembled without it.
OR as is the case with the batteries. They just stick in whatever battery they have handy and in stock, to keep assembly line moving.
Then deal with the problems later as they crop up.

Interesting you said that about your ram since mine lasted 9 years in my ram. the second battery is 7 years and no problems yet.
But that was its age when my Maverick came in. I never changed the battery while I owned it.

I don't know who manufactures Motorcraft batteries, it's certainly not direct out of a Ford factory, and that said, Interstate might be made to a different standard since it's their name and reputation on their product, not a contract to lowest bidder.

This was my case: truck operated daily several times (2024 ECO), last month had to jump start it, took it to dealer, tested battery ok, a week later same issue, this time battery tested bad and they replaced it. It's been like two weeks now, no issues ... so far
Update for the team:
No more issues. Recently went in in a 8 day cruise. I was considering disconnecting the battery, but did not do it. The truck started perfectly. Happy as a clam

Mine died a little over 24 months. Dealership replaced it under warranty at no cost.
