GEEEZ I thought everyone on the planet understood that 170k = 170000, that's universal! And, at those miles, start setting aside money for a replacement transmission, prior fluid exchanges or not!

Back when I went by manufacturer’s tranny fluid change intervals, I Had a VW go ~275K miles on the original fluid. That’s when I lost 5th gear. The other 4 continued to work fine though. Mostly highway miles on that one…GEEEZ I thought everyone on the planet understood that 170k = 170000, that's universal! Mensa crowd, love it! stated, started, anther, another. Just being an a$$ dude, all is fine.I can remember when I had a 2000 Ford Focus with the 2.0 naturally aspirated 4 cylinder and an automatic transaxle, when it hit 105,000 (or 105K for the Mensa crowd) it stated to shift hard and slip at times. I poured in a can of TransX, drove it for 100 miles and did an ATF drain and fill in my driveway, pulling the pan and putting in a new filter...she drove like new....ran up anther 30,000 (30K) then traded it in for a Ford Fusion....great little car for that time in my life.
Sorry im old and even I know when someone says stuff like they spent 10K on stuff or my car has 170K on it that its miles now if someone wanted to designate Kilometers for example they would say 170Km..Sorry btw my Maverick currently has 38.5K on it...Instead of using 170k at least use 170m for us ignorant people
