Door's auto locked

Has anyone experience having all the doors lock automatically. With both the key in the ignition and the cell phone in its cradle? Happened to me a week ago. While babysitting catalytic convertors at a dealership from theft. Located in the middle of nowhere. I had to wait till morning before being “rescued”. I am putting a keypad on, parts ordered. Since XL's don't have one. This will not happen again. However, all the doors did lock without hitting any buttons accidentally. Any ideas??

Yes. I had it happen with my key in the ignition. Fortunately my window was open.

Search for: +lock +automatically

... and you'll see other people have had the problem too. I haven't read about a fix.

Has happened to me also . ive also got out of the truck in my garage and didnt lock the doors and went back out to get something and it was locked.Very annoying but it happens

Happened a couple of times the dealer can set something they said to stop it. They leave all vehicle windows in the shop because of the isssue

That's a bummer haha!! If you did have your phone with you, you should be able to unlock your car with the Fordpass app.

Do a search, you locked it opening the door.

Yep, have had it happen on mine several times. Luckily the XLT has the keypad.

Well, That is correct. I did not push the lock button, but the lock lever was somehow pushed flush.
