Door Ding Help

I got dinged. 2026 MAV Lariat. Ding is just past the rear passenger side door. Small but I notice. Went for a PDR estimate today and they'd have to use the glue pulling method. I was quoted $458. Any ideas of some kind of Ford or Maverick sticker I could put over it that would blend in and not look dumb? Pictures attached. (Picture of side is when it undamaged. Other pic I circled the damage)

Why not just purchase your own DIY pdr kit with the glue and puller? There doesn’t appear to be any damage to the paint. I have used my pdr kit successfully countless times. It’s easy and they aren’t expensive.

That’s an option. Thanks. Is it easy to screw it up if you have never done it before? I’m fairly well mechanically inclined. Just have never done that before.

The price sounds a little high. Might be worth it to check in a nearby city if you don't have many PDR shops nearby. Might be worth letting them know upfront you're willing to pay cash. They always quote higher if they think insurance and credit card companies are involved.

Doing your own glue pull is also fine, lots of videos for it, make sure the area is super clean. The worst that can happen is you over pull and it would turn into a paint repair.

Almost impossible to screw up unless the paint at the ding site is cracked. You might pull the paint off there. But if the paint is ok you should be successful

Shop for a better price, but don't put a sticker over it...all you'll have is a sticker with a ding in it. lol

Yup, that's what I'm going to do. $250 seems reasonable to me. More than that I'll live with it

Put a "Target Logo" sticker or maybe center a spider web sticker there.

Plenty on Amazon of various quality. Plenty of YouTube videos on how to fix the dent as well.
