I know most of us protect our MAV's by parking away from all the fools out there. But I tell you, these mavericks have some TTTTHHHIIIINNNNN door panels. Parked ONCE near others and got a nice ding aleady.

Trying to tell myself its alright...so frustating

Look into paintless dent repair. I dinged my VW by accident of course the week I bought it, my kid drove it to school and someone sat on the hood a few years later leaving too big dents. I took it in and they wanted 150-250 for the hood repair and agreed to do the ding for 25. Normally they have 75min charge. Ended up being 175 total because he said the hood popped out really easy. Now of course after fixing that and looking perfect my kid got rear ended soon after. Was nice while it lasted.

This happened to me but thankfully the man who did it left a note on my windshield wiper and his insurance is going to pay to repair the scratch and slight dent. I hope they match the paint perfectly.

This is when taller trucks and rock sliders come in handy.

Go ahead, open your door fast af... right into that steel bar that will bend your door like a yoga expert.

That said... The Maverick is not a taller truck with rock sliders lol. I'm parking away from people as often as I can.

Look into paintless dent repair.

+1 for paintless dent repair. I've had it done to a car I had bought used that had a half dozen door dings, as well as a dent across the crease in the center of the hood. Technician was able to get rid of all of them. No matter how hard I looked, I could not tell where they had been. What those magicians do is amazing.

Lucky there are still honest people out there...after my wifes $850 worth the door dings on her escape, idget that fixed otherwise it would drive me nuts

Yes I witnessed my first Mav door ding and it didn't take much. The other door barely hit mine. I went with Dawn side molding also to ease future paranoia. A little pricey but real happy with product.

I’ve had these for a few years now they work great and are removable and if you don’t put them at the perfect height, they still block the door from hitting your car.

I just put the Dawn Enterprises/Sportwing moldings on my 24 Hybrid Lariat. Perfectly color matched in Azure Gray. Very happy with them!

I will agree the dawn moldings fit and match the maverick perfectly. They may not stop all dings but if they stop any then they've paid for theirself.
