Hi folks,

In my Ford Fusion I had a rear seat cover designed for protecting the seat when I transport the dog. It did great for the seat but was no help for the door panels. Does anyone with a Maverick have a recommendation for a removable cover that will protect the seat AND the door panels?

No suggestion on a cover, but I find that putting on a nitrile or latex glove and basically brushing/rolling the fur by hand makes it a LOT easier to get off the seats/surfaces so you can vacuum it up.

I bought this one for my truck. It does the job, but you do lose access to the floor/foot area in front of the seats.

My wife stole it from me and has been using it in her car, now. Se say she likes it.

I bought one on Amazon for a Ford Escape and it covers the seat very well. Bought door shield also but I think those were from WeatherGuard; they have tabs that slip into the window slot. Both work great for my German Shedder!

I bought the 4knines Rear Seat Cover For Fold Down Seats With Hammock and it works pretty well. Fits nice, stays in place, allows seat belt access and provides for middle arm rest fold down if needed. I have a small dog (30 lbs, had to throw her in a pic below). Haven't fully tested the waterproofness yet, but appears to be able to stop small of amount of wetness. Can always drop the hammock portion of humans to sit in back.

I also bought WeatherTech Door Protector (the larger 26"x18") size. Good coverage on door width (would have liked it longer, but hopefully exposed area not subject to dog too much) and surprisingly stays in place when opening and closing windows (it's possible repeatedly opening/closing with it attached may wear something down and it comes out, but time will tell).

My dog goes everywhere I go; I have a Lab that sheds all year, I use one of those Amazon covers with the orange trim it matches the XLT trim, I put down a set of cloth mats I had from mt last car under it because most dogs leak a little. they last about 2 years for me and seams start to open where dog sit which is by the rt rear window of course she has to look out the window, there 30 bucks and last 2/3 years depends on dog weight, When I replace it I put the new one over the old one after washing it been doing this for 8 years and put a new one down the day I got my truck been 2.5 years now its still good, I take it out every few months and hose it down. Get a rubber brush from Amazon 10 bucks to get hair out, brush and vac same time works great for cover and hair on seats. I don't get the one that covers door panel because she's in truck every day and you get tired hooking the sides up every day, I just wipe them down once in a while its only drool, 30 bucks every few years and she's in truck 24/7 works for me. If you have a dog your truck becomes a dog truck. Fur and all!
Worried about the slobber, vomit, and scratches/damage to the door panels.
Fur is not the issue.

The one I got from WeatherTech are keeping my panels clean; can't say that for the windows but they clean up fairly quick.
