I was looking for a dog ramp to assist my senior dog in getting into the back seat of my Maverick as it's about 12-18 inches higher than my Mazda3 was. I found the WeatherTech EasyRamp. The ramp comes in three easy-to-assemble pieces.
For now, I only need to use two of the pieces but when my girl pup had to have emergency abdominal surgery in March, I needed all three pieces to make sure she didn't pop any stiches getting in and out of the truck.
I highly recommend this dog ramp for ease of use, low angle of ascent, and stability.

Fantastic. Gotta take care of the kids. My question is how to get kids to take back seat. I am ok if I take all four small ones, but if I take just one or two, either wife has to sit in back, or most of the time, I have to sit in back and let her and kids have front.

I like that. I might have to get one. No way can my dachshund get up there by himself. At 20 lbs it's no issue lifting him up, but the ramp might be easier.

That looks neat. Happy Doggies!
Maverick seat is about the same height as the EcoSport. Mugsy dog can jump in if he takes a run at it but sometimes has to scramble a bit. I can lift him in but he thinks that's embarrassing so we have a carboard box with carpet stuck on the top.

My pups weigh just shy of 50 lbs each and at my age (75++), lifting them in was getting to be a literal pain in the back. That's how I got started on the ramp search.

I tried a crate, but it wasn't very stable and my boy just wasn't buying it. If the box works for your Mugsy, that's MUCH less expensive than a ramp.

Too funny. I'd like to see a picture of the last scenario (the kids up front, you in back).
