  1. Tucking dascam power cable behind trim

Exactly, which is why I can't understand why anyone would position anything on, or in front of where the airbags could deploy. A phone mounted with a vent clip, a misplaced cable in front of an airbag, or any other object that could travel at 100mph, could do some serious damage.
  2. Tucking dascam power cable behind trim

I routed the cable down the A-pillar behind the airbags and secured the top and bottom with a couple zip ties to make sure the cable stayed in place.
  3. Rear License Plate Mount Location?

    Rule-of-thirds wins. Offset is best.
  4. Why I love my Maverick

Before purchasing my Maverick last November, I had always owned F150's. I wasn't sure how the transition would go--moving from a larger truck to a smaller one, but today I fell in love with my Maverick. The past three days I had been removing old termite-infested wooden fencing in my back yard...
  5. Show me your Tints

I was going to have my girlfriend post a picture of hers, but then I re-read the title. Oops
  6. What was the first song you played or will play on your Maverick?

I had a long drive home from the dealer, so Beethoven's Symphony 7 was the first music I played.
  7. Spark Plugs Replaced Video

Excellent video! Step-by-step with clear narration.
  8. Has anyone useed either of these replacement taillights for their Maverick?

I doubt that they are legal in California. It doesn't say that they are DOT-approved, and the lack of visibility with the smoke appearance is probably an issue.
  9. Just Picked Up My 2025 Lariat Hybrid

That's a beautiful looking truck. Congrats!
  10. Passive Entry locking door with horn beep

I don't believe it is supposed to beep. I lock it the way you suggested, by touching the top of the door handle and listening for the "click" to let me know that it has locked.
  11. Best dashcam?

I use a Viofo A229 Pro front and rear in my Maverick. Took about 1/2 hour to install. Here is a video I made tonight.
  12. Rough Country Tri-fold Tonneau is a winner

I like that there is some space between the cover and the glass when upright.
  13. Rough Country Tri-fold Tonneau is a winner

After reading about the possibility of tariffs raising the prices of everything Maverick, I decided to purchase a tonneau cover. I did my research by reading through all the threads on this forum and chose the Rough Country hard trip-fold. Ordered it for $615.96 four days ago and see that it has...
  14. Installed OEDRO Hard Folding Tonneau Cover

Your cover and truck look great. What are the rail clamps like to secure the cover to the bed? I have the Ford cargo management rails and wonder if there might be a clearance problem if I were to get that cover.
  15. Does the front plate bracket get factory installed?

Was surprised when I bought my new Maverick (in CA) and the dealer said they now have to install temporary plates with a number before I could leave the lot. When I got the new plates in the mail a few weeks later I was again surprised to see that the license plates were first sent to the...
  16. Hybrid Maverick brakes - replace at how many miles?

Same here. I traded in my Cmax with 94k miles and had never replaced the brakes, and the same for my F150 with 130k miles. I think it has a lot to do with how hard people apply the brakes and the location of the vehicle (I'm in CA and don't have to worry about salt on the roads or extreme weather).
  17. Took the Maverick to Lowes, made some unexpected purchases. The rear window came in handy. Next time I’ll take my F150.

Been there, done that. The window frame can crack very easily from any movement of the boards though. Don't ask me how I know! :crying:
  18. 2025 Hybrid Fuel Mileage.

    In 2922, I'd hope to get 400-420mpg using the Maverick's Trans-warp drive.
  19. Got our 2025 Maverick yesterday -- Lariat, Ruby Red with BAP

The red and blue are definitely the most attractive colors. Congrats!
  20. LED tail lights Anyone use them yet

Yep, after running it through a review analyzer: " Our engine has profiled the reviewer patterns and has determined that there is high deception involved."
