A/C in my `24 Lariat Hybrid does here in Arizona...
I'm your neighbor from Gilbert, AZ. It's all about "Delta T", the difference between the air temp inside the cabin and the air temp the system is able to put out from the registers. Delta T for a good system is 15-20°. But humidity also matters. More humid=more difficult to cool.

I have a small thermometer like this: Amazon LINK. You can buy them at AutoZone, too, etc. Which takes the guesswork out. It will slip right into the register. I keep mine in place there always.

My 2 month old '25 Hybrid in Arizona will output ~50°F cold air (after a while) set on "LO" when it is >100°F outside after work at 4pm. That is cold, but not ice cold because the cabin air is probably around the high 70's after like 5-10 min. It takes a while to output 50° air because it is about 130° inside when I first open the door. And it won't ever get down to 60° inside because it's hotter than Hades outside. I'd guess on the afternoon drive home it never gets below 70° inside even at the lowest temp setting with Recirc on.

When I start driving to work at 6:30am in the morning and it's about 75° these days it will output 40°F cold air, which is frigid so I turn the temp setting up to about 68-70. Then it will output around 50°. You just cannot expect the AC to always output 40° no matter how hot it is outside.

So if you are really concerned, get a thermometer like this and if you are getting 40°-50° air output from your ducts, you are good.

If yours doesn't you need to have it checked. my MY22 will freeze you out, best A/C in a vehicle i think i've ever had.
I agree, best HVAC (in the front seats) and someone in the back mentioned it was cool.

The automatic temp control of the Lariat seems to be sentient, with a mind of its own, exercising its own free will on occasion. Not sure what are all of the variables it considers in it's control scheme, but it seems to allow things to get too warm or too cold at times, not constantly, but at times it's taking poor control decisions. The system on my 2002 VW Passat GLX 4Motion Wagon was more repeatable in terms of it's behavior than my 2024 Ford Maverick Lariat AWD EcoBoost.

Here's my AC thermometer back from the days of R12 recommended temperature range was the Shaded area below 50° coming out of the vent. I bought this thermometer
at an auto parts store in the 70's

Me: 24 hybrid Lariat and yes, the AC gets really cold. Be sure to select the button to have the air come out the dash vents as opposed to the floor. It is also dual so see that both sides are set to a low temp setting.

When I first got my 2022 XLT, the A/C didn’t feel as cold as it should. Even with the fan on full blast, the air just wasn’t that cool. This was a brand-new truck, so I was surprised. I decided to check the cabin air filter and found that it was ripped and being sucked into the blower motor. After replacing it, the A/C performance drastically improved — it was ice cold. I would definitely check the cabin air filter!
I found deer feeder corn on top of my cabin filter.

I agree with Kenv24. This is the coldest auto A/c I have ever had.

You certainly wouldn't want to inhale that!
Damn energetic pack rat. Nearest deer feeder about 2000 feet away! Sprayed replacement filter with peppermint oil.🤞
