I want to protect my new maverick undercarriagge against rust .
I am too old to do these things myself.
The only services that I found where I live is rinoliner ( $600 and only 2 years warranty ) and LINE-X .
I know nothing about line-x.
Do you have any experince with their service?
Thank you.

A spray-in hard bedliner is a great thing to do, but stay away from anything that produces a hard coating on the underside of your vehicle. In the 70s and 80s most dealers pushed this type of undercoating, and its one of the main reasons why you don;t see these vehicles on the roads anymore with their rusted-out frames and floors. Eventually the undercoating layer will separate from the metal in any of a dozen different ways, and that resulting gap holds water, salt, etc. At that point it is much worse than having nothing. Under the vehicle only use soft non-acidic coatings with creeping agents in them. They will drip a bit for a week or so, but they offer you 50-year protection if you keep them touched up. I use Krown, but FluidFilm, WoolWax, Cosmoline are also really good. Used differential oil is also available at most corner shops, but its not as good without a creeping agent added to get into places where the spray never reached. Also make sure that they drill holes where there are blind cavities to get the spray in there as well. On a Hybrid, I believe that Krown is the only one that certifies that it will not harm your electrical connectors.

That's what I liked about Rusty Jones rust proofing versus Ziebart.
Rusty Jones was formulated not to dry out and get hard. I seem to recall Rusty Jones also offered, I believe lifetime touch ups.
But very similar to what happened in the muffler industry with stainless steel mufflers and companies like Midas having to branch out into brakes and auto repair to remain in business.
Rust proofing companies went out of business when the auto makers started using better steel then the crap they were using in the seventies and eighties.
Crap steel very little corrosion protection, salty roads, bad drainage is why our cars rusted out back then.

Happy with mine so far but I don't haul a lot anymore. They said it would take 2 hours so I went to breakfast but it took a couple more hours. The manager talked like he knew what he was doing although I did not watch them do it. I would imagine the quality varies from store to store so I would get some local reviews.

Own a couple of airplanes. Applied a spray coating to interior bare aluminum surfaces, in fuselage and wings. This stuff goes on thin, yet does great job. Protects in moisture laden atmosphere. This stuff creeps, weeks after spraying, it creeps into the lapped joints of the metal, exposing it outside. The plane exterior looks like checkboard where preservative creeps. After this happens, the hard part is cleaning, wiping, washing it off the exterior surfaces. A bit of elbow work here. Can’t recall what the product is, but know it something that Boeing developed, used. A lot of seaplane owners use it. I guess if any would search “creeping preservative” might find it.

Boeing offer a spray called, I think, call Boe-Shield. Don’t think that’s it. Think this was a temporary sprat protection on new parts to protect when in shipment, and storage .

IMHO Waxoyl is the best. Of course it depends on the quality of the application.

Bed only. May not be Line X brand, but it’s a recommended stuff by the dealer.
