Line-X material used for undercoating?

I have a quote for the local Line-X shop to apply their bedliner material as an undercoating. Not for rust-proofing (in Florida?), but as soundproofing. I'm having second thoughts as to the material being used. Comments? Concerns? Suggestions?

I would not want to be the mechanic that has to work on a truck that was undercoated with bed liner. If it was solely for soundproofing, then apply it on the inside under the carpet. There are specific products for that like LizardSkin.
