Sign up on the Ford Pass site and you will get a membership ID number that you will give to your dealer when you make the purchase. Also get the app on your phone where you will use same ID to sign in to that.

I got mine yesterday after buying my vehicle last Wednesday. So, roughly four days. Keep in mind, they will expire if you don't keep the account active. I burned mine this morning.

If you get the app on your phone I believe you can register through it. Or Google Ford Pass. Your dealer will also set you up when your truck comes in as well.

You will be credited 42,000 points for a new vehicle purchase, no matter the trim. And those points are good for $210 in purchases at Ford Dealers.

They do accumulate, but they also expire. (I had the bright idea that the points from my last car eventually would help with my Mav. Not the case - have to spend them on accessories or oil changes, etc.)

I believe you have to spend money to earn points, and supply your membership number at the time of purchase. Now that the Ford Pass Visa is no more, I won't be using the points too much. It was nice to earn points for the over priced $170 dealer service. I just changed the oil myself for ~$50. I still need to rotate my tires though.
