I would love for that to be true but the mechanic was talking to us on the side and he wanted to service the vehicle the first time it was there but was not allowed as Ford Corp did not give them permission to do so. Both ends lied to us the entire time, one said it was the others fault. Both don't care.
bulllll shat. you should have gotten a second opinion at any point during this interaction. or asked here.

or... anything other than let that dealership do a terrible job and then make excuses about it.

Ford Motor Company cannot service your vehicle. manufacturers are explicitly banned in numerous states from directly selling or servicing vehicles, and to my knowledge, no manufacture until Tesla even tried to do that in recent decades.

Well I'm sure plenty of people come here to say Ford is terrible but then you need "proof" for anyone to believe you. Then you tell your story and they still don't believe you because then you are just a disgruntled person.... All I wanted to do is let other owners know what i went through in case they have the same issue. Cant make everyone happy lol.
You don’t have to make anyone happy but yourself. If you don’t trust the Maverick or Ford then it is best for you to sell it and find a new vehicle.

Tiffany,
I'm going to offer this in all sincerity.
It's a lot of money to pay for a product that isn't up to par.
You've owned your Maverick for longer than a year. You aren't going to find a whole lot of sympathy from the members here, because it seems you just joined the Forum to complain about how terrible your Maverick is. While that may be true. You would have a more sympathetic audience if you had been a member prior to this posting.
I still understand your frustration and the fact that you want to get the word out of how terrible Ford and its dealership is treating you.
I really hope that you get some satisfaction from Ford.
Sincerely,
GB

I had a problem with the turbo wastegate actuator not functioning properly. Sounds like what you had going on. They replaced it and did my recalls and all is well with the world once again. Even though I spent about 6 hours in the waiting room at the dealership, I still love my Tremor. I am, however, going to purchase the extended warranty. 😬

Yep. She said that the dealer couldn't find any codes and released the truck back to them without doing anything. The next step should have been taking it to another Ford dealer.

100%.

Besides believing the dealership's lies and excuses, in her first post, it's clear the OP believed that FoMoCo could tell the independent, privately owned dealership what to do. They cannot.

A competent dealership would have diagnosed and repaired this correctly.

I think you discovered the problem. His was probably built the day after Cinco De Mayo
Mexican's don't celebrate that. It's a Gringo holiday. And this post smells of Major trolling, or rotten fish. Not sure which.

Unfortunately false. Ford Corp does tell the dealerships what is allowed since its "their money". That is why they have to diagnose the issue before they will even approve any rental while the vehicle is serviced. And it would appear there is no competent dealership in my area since I called all Ford dealerships within a 30-mile radius.

Next time buy a Maverick Hybrid, or an F150 with the 5.0 V8. You won't ever have turbo issues again.

Due to frustration and a bunch of recalls FORD just gave 2022 and 2023 Hybrid Owners a 10 year / 150,000 mile engine warranty as a way of making up for all the recalls and worry people have.
