In the end I decided to take my Ruby Red 25 Hybrid XLT AWD with tow package and spray in liner! At first I was undecided when my dealership was pushing only 19k for trade on my 22 xlt. I got them to 22,700 and that matches Carvana and Carmax after the trade in credit difference.

If my current 22 had AWD and tow package I would not have traded but I wanted those options in case we end up getting a Traveler trailer. Sure I could have gotten a used Ranger for about the same price as the 25 but I would cut my mpg in half and after sitting in a new 25 Ranger the Maverick as more interior room.

First few things I noticed is everything just feels tighter, the brakes smoother and it seems to have a little more low end acceleration. Also for whatever reason it seems a little higher. Maybe because it has different suspension vs my 22. I love the Ruby Red paint and really pops in the sun! Originally I was a hater of the new front end but I love it in person. It's more aggressive and just looks great in my opinion. The new screens and sync 4 so far are very good. I still need to play around with settings and configure my drive views to how I want them. Also the audio seems to be an improvement. Not sure what they ended up changing.

One thing I really wish is the center stack moved up about an inch or 2. I'm 6ft 1 with long legs and shorter arms so in my driving position my right knee hits the center stack. Was the same issue in my 22 but seems the 25 sticks out just a little farther..

Matt congratulations on your new Maverick. Living in CT I think you will be very happy and impressed with the AWD. Not to mention all the upgrades a little more ground clearance, better suspension and sync 4, just to name a few. Best of luck with your new truck. If you do decide on a trailer or need to occasionally tow you will appreciate the 4k tow package. If not you can utilize options that come with the 4k tow on a daily basis transmission oil cooler, upgraded fan and the conventional tire. Good luck in your travels.
