Diode Dynamics Fog Lights on backorder

Checking to see what results others have had. I ordered my Diode Dynamics fog lights for my 23 hybrid XLT on Sept 8 from Diode Dynamics. The website stated that it was on back order. That is fine, however, I was surprised to see that my credit card has been already charged and checking today, the status on the order isstill listed as back ordered. Just curious what others experience has been?

It's rare nowadays, but DD is a real US based company with customer service. They will respond. Probably tomorrow if you shoot them a message today. My experience has been great with them.

That aside, it does seem unusual to charge for a backordered part, but maybe that's their policy.

I did send a request for info. I do like their fog light kits. I added a DD fog light kit on my Suburu and I really like it.

Worked in Banking, Bank data service center and bank auditing form most of my working days.
And "Yes", you will see an immediate charge on your account, however it should be listed as "pending" or some other similar term. "Pending" puts a hold on the funds, but does not actually post as a live transaction. Pending transactions stay there for a period of time before the company sends in the actual charge that replaces the pending charge, usually when about to be shipped. If not listed as "Pending" check with them... That is not normal for most businesses.
