Dealership Allocation active

The salesman at the Ford dealership where I ordered my 2023 hybrid lariat maverick said of the 80 new orders they put in last week....11 of them were picked up (allocated) to this specific dealership...he also said one of the 11 allocated Mavericks is my build...I will keep you updated on this allocation and any emails from ford directly pertaining to my order

How would they know which 11 are picked up for that dealership before scheduling?

I am unsure but he said I am one of the 11 allocated orders....to be honest I think there are some "under the radar" stuff going on that hasn't or may never be in the news media spotlight....with all these production dates, I would not be surprised if mine goes in production before November 14th or certainly AFTER

Likely those are the ones that COVP was approved by Ford Corporate.

Wow!!! This might be good news for everyone who ordered a 23MY. I am hoping Ford gets better and more efficient at slinging these orders out this year!

Do you really get emails from Ford? I have an order in since Oct 2021. No notifications or emails.

I got my confirmation email from Ford after I ordered. Do I need to do anything to eventually get emails about the progress of my order or is that set up since they have my email address?

If you got your confirmation email, you should be good to recieve all further notifications

Allocations don't really work like that....

Are you maybe in a group with the lowest priority??

Ford allocates X number of vehicles to a dealership for a certain month. Ford tries to schedule that many orders from that dealership for that month. Even if your order has a better priority #, if there are constraints, your order will be skipped over for a buildable order.

I think whether or not you want emails is set by your salesperson or dealer during the ordering process.

If I were you, Silverado90, I'd be on the phone with your dealer right away. You have until 10/5 to roll your order over if it's not already scheduled

I received an "order confirmation" email from ford last week... my next email will include a scheduling date .....my dealership set up these notifications for me after they took a copy of my driver's license

The 80 orders won't be built in a month they are only getting 11 built for the first month of production allocated to them and mine is one of the 11....the order confirmation I received from ford last week said I am one of the "early" orders and they will keep me updated on scheduling.....but, I do understand how allocations work and I do know for a fact the 23s are first come first serve this time around unlike the 22 orders
