Allocation question

I have a question on dealer allocations. I read the how its done thread but still can't seem to figure out allocations.

Is there a difference in how dealer allocations work when someone reserves a vehicle vs an order with deposit (and negotiated price etc etc)?

We ordered our ecoboost\AWD XLT in early Dec, got a priority code of 10 and are waiting like everyone else. was just wondering if an order vs a reservation makes any difference.

Reservations for the MAV is simply a dealer lead technique.

Orders are commitments to buy a given configured MAV and are considered for allocations to the dealer. The overall allocation process is much more complicated than just orders. It’s volume, size and standing with Ford and who knows what else.
