Dead battery

thank you for info. did they give you a loaner?
Would you have still bought car if you knew this were to occur?
I am more then 60 percent sure I will purchase one in august. trying to accumulate
some facts, price, warranty realities etc

Nope. It's sitting at the dealer again. So far it's been there a week this time.

Well it's been at the dealer for two weeks and they said we can come pick it up. They hope they fixed whatever the issue was/is, but they don't really know for sure because they never diagnosed a problem. Wish me luck!

What did they say they did? Doesn’t bring much confidence when they say they never diagnosed the problem..

They said they reprogrammed it. Not sure exactly what they reprogrammed, but I picked it up last Thursday and so far, so good. Fingers crossed that was the issue.

Hello all I got a maverick hybrid with 4,000 miles it’s a lariat I went to start it and had no power so I put a charger on it and jump started it drove a round for 30 miles and came home and tryed to start it again with no luck jump started it again and took it to the dealer

any one else have this problem

Yep My battery died yesterday. I have 6k miles. When your car is parked do you ever hear it making noises that sound like someone is locking and unlocking the doors? Mine makes them sound and I wonder if that's whats draining my battery.

Pretty standard. As far as I’m aware, this is just the sound of relays opening / closing in anticipation of the truck being turned on (or the opposite when you just turned it off).

I just got mine back from the shop yesterday. They told me it was a loose connection at the fuse box. Time will tell but I hope it’s fixed, I have a jumpstart power pack just in case though.
