Their response to me was they are waiting for
They kept telling me they were waiting for instructions from corporate. After 10 days, the only thing they did was take the cover off the fuse compartment. I wasn't getting deep sleep messages, which tells me they didn't even start it. Out of...
We had to do the same thing, but when the guy came the first time he said Ford wouldn't pay for that and we would have to. He left and we waited another day for Ford to send someone else.
When trying to have my hybrid towed, we opened the compartment and it's empty. My dealer said my engine shouldn't have a cable. I still don't know how to have it towed if I can't put it in neutral.
Mine has been at the dealer (again) for two weeks and I can tell every time they start it and turn it off because I get that message. They still won't say there's anything wrong and thinks we're crazy.
Does anyone in the state of Florida have a dealer that's actually acknowledged and fixed this issue? My dealer still denies there's anything wrong. At this point, I'm willing to travel to get this resolved. I'm beyond 😡 with Plantation Ford.
Hopefully my dealer gets the message. My truck has been sitting back at the service department since last Wednesday. It's been there so many times, I've lost count. Until now they've been telling me they don't find anything wrong.
Update: When the truck arrived to tow my vehicle, we popped open the compartment to put it in neutral and guess what? No red pull cable. So now we're waiting for a truck with wheel lifts and a dolly.
I am having issues with my hybrid as well, have been since I took delivery in March. My complaint was also escalated and I received a call today saying basically, that unless they can duplicate the issue at the service department, then the issue doesn't exist. I feel like I can't rely on my...
They said they reprogrammed it. Not sure exactly what they reprogrammed, but I picked it up last Thursday and so far, so good. Fingers crossed that was the issue.
Well it's been at the dealer for two weeks and they said we can come pick it up. They hope they fixed whatever the issue was/is, but they don't really know for sure because they never diagnosed a problem. Wish me luck!
I understand your comment, but my point is that you shouldn't have to constantly worry if your practically brand new truck is going to start. I don't want to be at a rest area somewhere after dark alone and have to jump start my truck just because I had to use the restroom.
I'm having the same problem. Took delivery in mid March and have had to have it jumped 3 times already. The dealer replaced the battery after the second time and then this morning-dead again. I'm afraid to drive anywhere for fear of coming back to a dead vehicle.
