I used velcro to fix it in there and it still stays there. Even in a hot day like this.

I purchases the 3D printed cubbie insert box and ball mount on Etsy from RefinedTruck. Love the box but when I mounted my iPhone XR in a holder to the ball mount it vibrated out and came falling to the center console; I then added a 3M command strip to the bottom of the box and although better still came loose. I then gave the phone holder to my wife and swapped the ball mount for the carabiner loop. Not sure how the other phone holder options work.
For me, the phone holder just didn't seem necessary and I now just plug it in and lay my phone in the phone spot.

I purchased my cubbie box and phone mount from Refined also. The box only stays in now since I've added velcro and lined the outside of box with thin felt to give it a snug fit. Then about a week ago my phone mount just came apart into two pieces where they'd glued two 3d printed sections together causing my phone to fall while I was sitting in the truck on lunch break. Thankfully no damage to my phone screen. I emailed Refined about the failed mount and radio silence...............................

how so? oily smudges or something else?

i wonder if there is an aftermarket screen solution that replaces the standard screen and cubby for a larger screen.

I don't have a Maverick yet, but my thought for people who want to use the cubby for figurines etc. is get a Hot Wheels Ford Maverick to display in that area. Quick search found this and several others.

Someone else had a clock which I thought was a great idea. It's easier to read than trying to find the digital one. I've had this thing sitting around for years. Went to a jewelry store for a battery. Presto & perfect.
