  1. Cheap DIY bed rack that works with tonneau cover

Seems like this is the cheapest option from McMaster. For the 2 bolt bracket in black color. I ordered it there because I can buy from them with significant clearance (company is doing business with them). I ordered 3 different types of brackets from them: 47065T798 47065T451 3574T24

  4. Cheap DIY bed rack that works with tonneau cover

It's definitely possible with the right cover. I'm using Truxedo pro X15 soft rolup cover on my orange truck and Rough Country hard tri fold on my blue one. Both trucks have rails. Basically you have to install rails first and then rails which comes with the cover above it and clamp in place...
  5. Cheap DIY bed rack that works with tonneau cover

I included this link to t-slit fasteners just for reference. You don't need to buy it. As I said each gusset comes with 4 fasteners. So you need 2 feet rails, 12 gussets and 2 cross beams from Amazon. That's it. Oh, by the way, don't forget to buy small bottle of loctite to fix all these...
  6. Cheap DIY bed rack that works with tonneau cover

I used four hollow aluminum t-slot rails 2 feet long. Then on the cross beams itself. They are actually flat on the bottom. So its just a direct contact between two flat surfaces :) As for the gussets, I used 12 aluminum gussets 47065T798 from McMaster. 4 T-slot fasteners are included with each...
  7. Cheap DIY bed rack that works with tonneau cover

I've been looking for the cheap bed rack which will work with my Truxedo pro x15 for the last two years. And didn't find anything. Truxedo cs is the most popular option here, but still 900 USD +. 13. One tire replacement: Conti crosscontact vs procontact

Hey guys. I recently flatted the tire, repaired it immediately, but looks like unsuccessfully. Tire keep slowly loosing pressure. Mechanic in a dillership recommended to replace it. My truck just passed the 10k mile mark. Tread wear is not that significant (tread depth is around 8/32nd now). So...
  14. Pigtail substitute compatibility confirmed.

Right. The most important part is this big black connector facing the truck harnessing. I already replaced the pigtail terminals with the larger ones (easy stuff). And it was definitely in time. I punched my tire today. So was able to test this outlet. Everything is working as needed. Still...
  15. Pigtail substitute compatibility confirmed.

This pigtail has two red connectors on the end of both wires. And those connectors are much smaller in a size then the standard contact for example on the 12V outlet. How to connect this thing? Does it needs to be cut and replaced with the larger contacts?
  16. Bed Blanking Plate - 3D Printed for 12V Accessory Outlet

According to the description on the pigtail packaging black wire is negative.
  17. Bed Blanking Plate - 3D Printed for 12V Accessory Outlet

Question regarding this pigtail connector. White wire (positive) has larger terminal (fit perfectly on the positive connector of the 12 V outlet). Black one has much smaller terminal. How to connect it to the large negative contact on the outlet? Cut and replace with the larger terminal? Also my...
  18. 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Finally, improved version of my cubby insert is finished. It's definitely more complex then previous one, require 3d printing of a couple of components. But in general it's still the same thing: plastic insert with two switches and magnetic phone holder. I don't know what to use those switches...
