This is actually a great idea. So far the pole looks interesting.

I think the poll can be refined. For example, my Mav is a Tremor, which has different (beefier) CVs.

Maybe something like

Hybrid
XL/XLT/Lariat without 2K Hitch
XL/XLT/Lariat with 2K Hitch Package (not Tremor)
XL/XLT/Lariat with 4K Tow Package
XLT/Lariat Tremor

Then there's the issue of FWD vs AWD vs 4WD.

Maybe too complicated.

Are you asking for mileage of when it happened or mileage on the truck now? At first it looked like you were asking when it happened but then you have the same options for No answers.

For Yes answers - when it happened

I thought about this but decided to keep it simple for now

really do need the breakdown of hybrid and ecoboost at the least.

IMHO the next most useful thing to see is Tremor. I'm very curious if anyone has killed Tremor cv joints at low mileage.

btw - it's important to remember these are a wear item. eventually, anything with a front differential will need cv joints replaced. it's how soon / how often.

Yeah i accidently polled my tremor with a problem on this poll please ignore , i tryed to change vote would not let me , so only mrmagoo would be the one to talk to about a tremor failure .

I can see why there's interest in this poll, but really, it's not going to give you any reliable numbers. I mean, people that have had CV issues will jump in to vote, but many people that haven't had CV issues -- or even heard of them -- aren't nearly as likely to reply. So it's going to skew heavily toward negative replies. By how much you'll never know.

Still good to see how many have had issues, just ignore the percentages. My truck is currently in the shop now waiting for backordered axles.

No problems with 2022 hybrid thru 31,000 miles, New 2024 had a noise from the start. Sounded like a rock in the tire, dealer changed both axles didn't fix it, changed wheel bearing noise gone. Also had a vibration from bad tire the dealer replaced.

Another member also mentioned this and I replied that I had wanted to keep it simple for now just to get a ballpark idea. So far we're getting far more No's vs Yes - I peaked into each member profile and its been a fair mix of Hybrids and EBs.
At the end of the poll (I set it up for 7 days), I'll take a look at everyones profile that responded and create a table showing Hybrid vs EBs #s
