I don’t understand why people would call there dealer and remove the Lux package, to get a truck build “sooner” and built Not the way you want it. May be I just enjoy not having a car payment. But I guess different people have different circumstances but then…. Why would you Pre order a Truck from a company that is well known for having Manufacturing issues.

Ford should backorder the Tonneau covers and bed mats to be sent later to the dealer to install. The spray in bed liner can also be done by most dealers.
I am sure many would opt for those options to be dealer installed to get their truck quicker. Component supplies have not caught up with demand.
LOL - they should change the name to "Stay in bed" liner like Mdibon said. It was probably a typo but funny. The spray in bed liner is definitely holding up vehicles if they can only produce 31% of the LUX packages. They both have it as a standard equipment on the LUX packages.
So I take that as, due to components (and black goo), only 14% of XLT and 17% of Lariat can be built as LUX. The good news is they can build some XLT Lux and Lariat Lux packages.

Hmmm, when I ordered my XL on the 9th of this month my dealer said the drop-in bed liner would be the problem. I wanted the drop-in but heeded his advice and went with the spray in.

🍿 🍿 🍿 this comment... 😆 🤣 for all you know u could get a build date this week... or commodities list could change next week and you get a date. Jeez ppl do y'all not have any patience 🙄
I placed my order with dealer on 8/27 for the XLT, Hybrid, Luxury package. I just assumed I'd have at least a 6 month wait...maybe longer, so this is my mind set.

I'm going to wait this thing out and get what I want.

Yah I'm not sure why the covers are causing delay for some reason the builds for US were going to be factory installed and the Canadian were going to be dealer installed. You would think they would just schedule them all if they aren't available to the dealers by point of delivery let the buyer decide to drop it then or come back in when it's in if they want only that one.

Welp, I have a FE order and as such I have the (a) lux package, (b) soft folding tonneau cover and (c) spray-in bed liner. Oh yeah...hybrid too. Strikes 1 through 4. Good thing I wasn't expecting a truck anytime soon anyway. 🤢

What is protective fender film 87B?
It is a clear film that covers front of hood and a portion of the front fenders.

It helps prevent paint chipping.

Thank you... Didn't order that, nor do I particularly want it.

Im not sure how its going to work in the Maverick. But with the Bronco they are focusing on FE to try and get them out before anything else. FE maybe the reason the rest of the commodities are limited it has caused the Broncos to be pushed further out since they are reserving the hardest to get things for FE.
