Coolant leak

So my check engine light came on overheating so I popped the hood and there was no coolant in the tank 6000 miles on the truck couldn’t figure out were the leak in so I had it picked up this morning and taken over to a dealer. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know if Ford covers a rental car till they fix it?

the answer to that one is no, unless you have a ford extended service plan that explicitly includes rental coverage, and even that has limits. (I think it's 10 days $60/day but I am not sure.)

Ford will reimburse dealer for loaner/rental for a limited time period....but availability of loaners @ dealership is an issue..... Best to check with your dealer.

I have NOT SEEN a leak,but I have been smelling antifreeze coming from the front end now for about a month - just under 2k on her now ( had it in for an oil change and was told everything was fine) do you have any more info on the actual leak?

I’ll let you know when I find out they said it would be a couple days to get to it but the gave me a rental.

Check engine light, missing coolant. It could be the heat exchanger.

Possible replacement program coming, this letter just started going out in Canada apparently

So my Ford dealership fixed the heat exchanger coolant line took it for a test drive and now it has no power it won’t accelerate. They did do three or four recalls on it so I’m wondering if you guys have any idea why it has no power now that they replaced that?
