Silver is always safe, though boring.
Carb grey, I can confirm, is a dust/grime magnet. It drives me nuts.
Thanks for the information, I like to wash my cars annually!

As someone who always got white cars for a simple clean look, I am very happy with cactus grey. First off it stays super clean, I haven't washed it in 2 weeks and I don't feel the need to. It is not a flashy color but it is unique at the same time. Everyone loves it too.

Do you know what colors are metallic of the ones not listed as metallic?
All of the colors on that photo chart you posted that end in the word metallic are metallic. Basically, instead of pure pigmented paint, they add a little bit of metal flake to give it the shiny metallic look. Shadow Black MAY have a tiny bit of metallic flake in it but I haven't seen one close enough in person to know for sure.

I've seen every Mav color in person now and the one that stands out the most and looks the most show car-ish is Hot Pepper Red Metallic. Even more than Cyber Orange. I'm not a big fan of those colors but they did look good.

I went with Carbonized Grey and didn't regret it. It might make the car seem smaller because it blends in with the road and city but it does a good job of hiding dirt and everything else. My second choice would have been Iconic Silver but the Maverick looks "tougher" and more manly in Carbonized Grey.

I believe Hot Pepper Red, Cyber Orange, and Alto Blue are all higher quality paint jobs as they have more coats of clear coat than the other standard paints.

Out of all the non-metallic paints, my favorite is Cactus Grey I guess. I love black but not on a Maverick.

Decisions, decisions. If only they offered a factory approved Harlequin package.

I forgot when I saw the first VW with that color hodpoge on it but I do remember saying something like, "Is that a parts car?"

Yeah, I know what metallic is but was unsure if FORD might of used the term in a different way. You know, to keep things simple I just might go white and add the racing stripe: hood, roof & tailgate.

Not a show stopper for some but in my experience, the metallic finishes are harder to touch up if you get a chip.

What's Ford got against an actual honest green color? Not eruption green, but actual British racing green.
That's almost the same damn color, Jesus you people.
