😊 Would love to hear if dirt really shows on A51.
It does a bit, when the color is in its "dark phase".
Depending on the light, there are many phases to Area 51, I've stopped counting them.. Though I prefer when it's really dark..

I like my carb gray but it seems like every truck in NE FL is charcoal gra, no matter the make or model 😖 I ordered my ‘23 in Area 51. I like blue and the color matches my eyes😊 Would love to hear if dirt really shows on A51. It definitely doesn’t show much on the CarbGray unless it’s the red clay when I drive to NC.
FWIW, I think Area 51 is pretty good at hiding "normal" dirt, road grime, etc. Much better than Black or any of the other blues. (Is A51 really blue, or is it a bluish gray shade? I have no idea.) In any case, I find that I mostly wash the truck because the windows are getting dirty - you don't see it much on the painted areas...

I almost bought a Cabonized Gray Maverick, and I do think that color looks sharp on the Maverick. But as I drive around town, all I see is black / dark blue / gray / blue gray /light gray trucks. along with the occasional white work truck. The only real "standout" colors for '23 are Cyber Orange and Hot Pepper Red. i really love the HPR, but I've had several red cars now, and wanted something different... I have to admit that every time I see one, I think "maybe I should change to HPR..."

But it doesn't get much more "different" than Cyber Orange. The fact that I was in school at UT (the REAL one - Tennessee) for a couple of years, then graduated from UTEP (El Paso), and that both schools use orange as their color (though CO is closer to Volunteer orange) kinda helps. Some people try to disparage CO as being "school bus yellow" but I really don't care about their opinion. I see a HUGE difference between the colors, and really like the "color-shifting" nature of CO (and HPR, for that matter). I only rode a school bus for one year during my life, so there are no negative connotations for me! All the other years, we walked to school - ten miles, uphill both ways, and in 3 ft of snow, of course!, so the school bus year was a pretty happy one for me!

I LIKE the fact that CO stands out in a crowd. It will be nice to walk back out to the Lowes/Home Depot parking lot, and not have any problem picking out MY truck. (I currently have an Area 51 Maverick, and despite the name, that color is pretty good "camouflage" because it blends nicely with all the gray / blue / smoke / gunmetal colored cars and trucks in the parking lot...
