I think the lane keeping assistance alert could be improved. Instead of the tiny icon that changes color from green to orange, they could have used a few pixels on the left and right of the digital display to display green/orange/red vertical bars. Maybe something similar but smaller with the blind spot monitoring that is only on the outside mirrors.

LKAS is an acronym - Lane Keep Assist System - not a Honda term - I mean you used the acronym to describe CP! If you can't deduct my second paragraph was entirely about Ford and CP360 and not Honda then you definitely should not be performing any Forscan on your Mav, leave it stock @bbhaag you'll mess it up!!!

So if you don’t buy the CP360, you can turn on LKAS with forscan? Or did I read this wrong?

That is correct. You'll need to purchase the turn signal stalk with the LKAS button and then you turn on the modules with Forscan.

It only adds LKAS - it does not add Lane Centering, you cannot add BLIS.

Thanks. It is so hard to find accurate information about the CP360. I thought only the lariats had the lane keep assist.

I believe it comes with the lux package

I've found the lane centering function on my '23 Lariat to be a nuisance. It does a poor job of centering the vehicle and tends to float between the lines to the extent that I'm often concerned others (cops) will think I'm ripe for a DUI. And any attempt I make to correct the vehicle's idea of where "center" is, is literally met with resistance from the vehicle as it fights me over lane positioning. It makes for a tense driving experience rather a relaxing one, which I think defeats the purpose altogether -- at least that the purpose of that particular feature, anyway.

That's my take on it so far. But as with everything else... YMMV.

Ok pal....except that article only mentions Subaru, Honda, Mazda, and Toyota.......and the only one that specifically uses LKAS in that article is Honda.

I'm not having that issue with mine. It seems to do well in keeping it centered. I'm sure you know, but the lane centering only works when Auto-Cruise is turned on and you see a green wheel in the upper left.

The BLIS is tight. If you move over right when the light turns off, you are likely to get a nice wave from the person you cut off. It is useful as it will flash if you turn your turn signal on. But I have some $2 blind spot mirrors that help a lot.

I had Co-Pilot added to my 2022 Hybrid Mav. On a scale of 1-5, 5 being outstanding I'd give it a 3.5. For several years had a Honda CRV previous to the Mav and their equivalent ran very well, especially lane assistance so my comparisons are to that. I also have the Mav CoPilot settings to strictest lane assistance. The lane assistance on the CoPilot is weak - sometimes I had it on and on an open road and no one around tested it. It let me drift over the lines frequently which is disappointing (Honda's would strictly keep you in). Sometimes I can drift halfway over the line and it will either resist lightly or jerk you back in the lane. Pretty poor performance IMHO.

The front end collision assistance on the other hand is hyper-sensitive. I have been just nicely cruising along in another lane, no car drifting in front of me, everyone in their lane and it suddenly go off and scaring the heck out of us. Then have had a couple of moments where I came close to backending someone due to them slamming their brakes or cutting in front and stopping and it never even came on.

The best function is the backup warning light coming on when in reverse. It has worked very well.

So co-Pilot is somewhat helpful overall - needs some work though to actually increase safety as it is supposed to do.

I thought the assist+ was just on the upper trims - you got that on the XL?
I don't have my truck yet, but ordered the Co-pilot 360 on my XL, I thought that was just warnings? That you can even turn off. I don't want my steering wheel being jerked away from me or my brakes being hit without me doing it.

I think the review was meant for CP360 but ventured into CP360 Assist. CP360 Assist can only be had on the Lariat with the Lux package which of course is all '24 Lariats. It's configurable by the menus. The Pre-Collision Assist is standard on all models.

I ordered CP360 mainly for the power mirrors that also easily fold in - necessary if parking on the very narrow streets in town, here. I also wanted the larger spare tire CP360 includes on the Hybrid.
I like the BLIS system, despite adding blind spot mirrors and having all mirrors properly adjusted to minimize blind spots.
I do not like the lane assist. The 2-land roads here are too curvy for it to be useful. And there are rumble ruts on both edges of the lane, so lane assist around here is redundantly annoying.

Thanks, that clears up some for me - but - adds another confusion - at least for me.
I know that all Mavericks have the Automatic braking that happens AFTER an accident - so that after an accident you arn't pushed in the car in front of you or worse oncoming lanes.
But I thought the auto braking that happens while you are driving was an option on the upper trims like the lariat?
Is the after an accident braking what you are talking about? Not while you're driving right?
You know they could have named these two systems something completely different to avoid confusion.
As dumb as Microsoft naming their file manager "Explorer" AND their internet browser "Explorer"/
