the anyfar adapter took all the issues away,phone and CarPlay work great!

And it may have a better cord than others. I have a different unit like that one and just a slight movement of the cord causes disconnects. It’s just another something that can go wrong IMO.

Was having similar issues, the dealer replaced the audio control module and it’s all fixed.

I use the back center council usb to plug in phone and the front usb for the anyfar dongle adapter for Bluetooth

I do not have a back usb, I have to use a cig adapter. I need to get that anyfar dongle, asked for it for Christmas, let hope Santa comes thru

If it cuts out the cable should be your first suspect. My adapter plugs strait in to usb and has no cable.

Does your Mav have Sync 3 or just the Connected radio infotainment system? While I have not tried the AnyFar adapter yet I have tried 2 others and while they both connected to Bluetooth on my phone they never connected over Wi-Fi or my head unit. I’m concerned this may be an issue with the head unit not being Sync 3. Thoughts?

You’re right, I need to give these another look.

If you have that plugged into the usb port, and then plug the phone into the other usb port to charge, does the phone CarPlay supersede the wireless unit, or does it only charge the phone?

The USB ports with the battery symbol are charge only ports!!!

That's because the phone plugged into the USB c port takes preference over the bluetooth connection. If you are plugging in a dongle you will need to pair your phone to the dongle not the truck.

I have sync 3 on my veh I use the rear center council usb to charge the phone and the front usb for the dongle.I’ve noticed while both are plugged in it’s a little slower to connect but still works great.no dropped calls, navigation works great and all my music plays well.
