So perhaps the older generation is smarter to not be taken in by basically ads for the influencers with older gen marketing. They are thrown at me to view - slide on by.I think your sentiment is spot on, but your root cause is a bit off the mark, at least as far as this forum goes. Your second sentence seems to be implicating some younger, TikTok-addicted group - but it isn't generally Gen Z Maverick owners who are starting new threads every day like "LOOKING FOR TAILGATE LETTERS" and "DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH MUD FLAPS."
"Google-fu" is apparently a generational skill set, and it never ceases to amaze me that people who can master starting a new forum thread don't seem to be able to leverage the world wide web for basic information requests.![]()
Don't all the search sites with AI produced synopsis provide the source sites for the info?
Wondering if the older gen are getting responses to searches, but don't trust it - but then fail to go to the linked sources.
Which in this case would bring them to specific thread where a likely 1 page of posts would provide enough info.
(unless it's these multiple pages we start having fun with)
