^^^^^ Yeah just playing with the lever lock there is minute movement, like a 1/4" range from lock to unlock. With my Bronco, the Bronco's is harder to move and a little more range. Both a far cry from the knobs on top of the door card they made back in the day.
The new latches are MUCH harder to unlock with a simple coat hanger but easier to lock by accident 😅

Just give it a rest people, he obviously doesn’t understand the difference between latches and buttons, loud clicks versus no clicks! 🥱
He finally got it and apologized. Some of us are naturally more inclined to"dig in" until we see something that makes the light bulb come on. Most of us have at least one or two areas where we're hard to convince and will dig in while being wrong. It's human nature.

My 2025 is the first FOB vehicle I've ever seen that lets you accidentally lock yourself out with the FOB inside. Has happened to me a few times because the doors seem to lock themselves arbitrarily. But I have luckily had my phone in my pocket and could unlock them through the app. But today I left both the fob and my phone in the car when I jumped out to move something and the door locked automatically behind me and I was locked out of the running truck. Had to call my wife to drive over with her FOB. My previous cars were unlockable when the fob was inside the car. You could lock them from inside but as soon as you open the door to get out all of the doors would unlock.
I also hate the arbitrary horn beeping that happens sometimes when you get out of the car and shut the door behind you. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for when it does that. I'm apologizing to startled bystanders all the time.
Personally I don't like the way the keypad looks, so I have a key (not fob) hidden under my car that I can reach if the need arises, just another option.
