Cannot dim the speedometer or battery dial, just the center information

OK, so can dim the center of the console where the digital speedometer, braking and whatever info you decide to display shows, but the dials on either side stay full bright.
I have plunked through all the menus and do not have a forscan, am I just looking in the wrong spotto find the setting to reduce those?
I find them too bright when driving in a dark area, luckily most the roads where I live are lit.

Brad,
I'm going to start with the basics.
It should be dark. The headlights should be on. Either manually or automatically. Otherwise it won't adjust.
First picture. On the lower left is the head light control, bed light and on the hybrid gas door release buttons. Along the right side of the control panel is two buttons, that controls the gauge cluster illumination..one with a + the other a -
I hope this covers it for you.

I have a 24 Lariat and have the same issue. Dash in the pictures is not the dash on my 24 Lariat lariat as it is a mixture of analog and LED (center section being LED, tack and speedometer being analog). Making the change you are suggesting does not change the brightness on either the tack or the speedometer on either side of the dash, just the center LED section. Asked dealer rep. when I was making an appointment and was told (off the cuff) the exact same as you are saying. When I told them it didn't change the analog section of the lariat dash, he said it doesn't. Will be on my list when I bring it in along with a couple of other minor issues (exhaust rattle, excessive wind noise around passenger A pillar and unable to find way to close dash vents fully when in automatic climate mode).

I didn't see that the OP said they had a Lariat or not.
That info isn't shown on my cell phone display of postings. As the screenshot of the thread below shows.
All I see is hybrid.
All Maverick's have a mixture of analog and LED. I have an XLT therefore that is the only trim package I can use to demonstrate with. Which is nice because the XL & XLT are the most popular of the trim packages.

My 23 Lariat does the same thing. Center screen dims, tach and speed do not. I also would like to dim them. Any suggestions?

Tried to take pictures but the light around here I'm not sure you can see it

I see what you mean.
Thank you for the pictures. They always help, most times better than words.
Not owning a Lariat, I have no ideas to help out.
Maybe a Lariat owner with FORScan can help out ?

Aaaahhhh yes sunglasses = orange ones block most of blue (brighter) part of led light.

After 6 weeks of contacting Ford, I got a call from Ford Marketing. He said that informing the dealer is the first step to resolving the issue. The dealer's input is required to start a recall. Did anyone inform their dealer?

Yes. If a 24 Lariat, center is LED, 2 sides are analog. Was told dimmer switch only lowers the LED lighting throughout the truck. Not happy with that.
