Well, we do need to remember the price takes a bit of a cut when you factor in the US dollar...but still, yep...that will make you up your credit card limit before you take your RV on a road trip.
Out here, just where I am diesel would be around $6.71 USD per gallon, so even with the conversion from $2.35 Cdn per litre, it wouldn't be much of a savings for a US shopper. Lucky for us, our friends drive gas, not diesel RVs.

That's what diesel costs here in inflationary Trumpars. $145 to fill up RV.
100 Gallon tank on my diesel pusher. Diesel is $5.16. Easy math, but still, it is what it is. Trip planned to El Paso in May as youngest grandson graduates high school. We will be making side trips when coming back home, Amarillo, TX, Ft Collins, CO, to Grand Junction, Co, then back to Fruitland Idaho. Not gonna be cheap, thats for sure. Still, cheaper than flying and hotel bills, eating in restuarants all the time, so I'm not complaining. I can get 7.5 mpg average, and I keep it at 65 mph. There is a chart in the original owners manual for the "sweet spot" on mpg. It says 63-65 mph, and it is right. Once I did an experiment, filled up, drove speed limit (80 mph) for about 3 hours. 5 mpg. Difference on a tank miles travelled about 200 miles further if I keep it at 65.

Well in 1990 gas prices here jumped overnight about 25 cents a gallon when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait. Adjusted for inflation, that's about 65 cents a gallon now which is about how much gas has gone up here. Moral of the story, up and down up and down rinse repeat again.

Suddenly, some investor holding lots of oil futures is going to get jittery and sell. Then watch the games begin again. :D

I was paying that for premium up on the Gaspe in Quebec a few weeks ago while snowmobiling the Gaspe loop. Seven of us did the loop from Ft. Kent ME, was 1400 miles in 7 days. Last day was the only really cold day. High was 5 or 6 I think and we traveled over 200 miles that day. Awesome trip.

Sorry fot the taxation without representation. We're not happy about it down here, either. This too shall pass.

Metro Vancouver gas prices include a Translink levy to fund public transit. The problem is there are now so many EVs in Vancouver that the levy is not collecting enough revenue. Cue a Property Tax surcharge.

In Squamish gas is $1.99/L.

I love my Maverick but will only drive it on long trips or if I need to haul something. I am rally loving my all-electric Mach E when gas prices go up as it has no fuel costs as long as I fill/charge at home because my solar panels overproduce my usage, so I just pay the minimum amount to be hooked up to the grid. In another year and a half, I should hit that breakeven point ahead of schedule. I hope Ford will add a plug in option to the Maverick Hybrid someday.

My Wife just said yesterday that she misses the Mach E but we sold it back to Ford due to lack of confidence in the charging infrastructure for road trips! As for gas prices last time I filled up the Truck right before the war started it was at $2.85 per gallon currently going for $3.96 per gallon!!

I can understand that completely, I haven't taken any trips longer than my battery range will let me and have only charged outside my home once. On a fast charger it took about 25 minutes to go from 32 to 84% charge at the cost of around $17 U.S. dollars or about the same as I would have spent driving my Maverick Hybrid. I took my Mav to Los Angeles from my home in New Mexico and actually verified charging stations now operable on the route and it would be practical to drive the Mach. Our fuel prices dropped to a low of $1.99 and since the war have risen to $3.94 since. Just curious, did your wife ever play the game built into the Mach E's touchscreen?

100 Gallon tank on my diesel pusher.

Ft Collins, CO,

Why Fort Collins CO?
Do you know....Main Street Fort Collins looks like Main Street Disneyland because the Disneyland architect copied Ft. Collins as a "typical American Main Street" in 1955.

Just think....

If you drove 60 mph you could go 250 miles more. And if you drove 55 mph you could go 350 miles more per tank.

And why not? You carry food and drink and your very own "rest area" with you!

(I know, 55 is hard.... just saying....)

Wind resistance on a large bulky body is immense.
