I think I'm on to something with this. I forgot that the dealer added this Karr Security system when we bought the vehicle. It has the Shock Sensor protection built it. I found the little valet override under the drive side and will try using that to disable the shock protection and see it...

Yes, followed the flat tow mode instructions to a T. I did lock the car and carried the FOB to the motorhome with me. A bit of play in the hitch, so I wonder if the perimeter alarm is being triggered by the movement. Maybe I should either leave the FOB in the car or not lock it to avoid...
