That's your dealer's choice - not Ford.The Ford mobile service tried to do the backup camera recall for my Maverick today and the tech gave up after unsuccessfully trying to install it 5 times. Get your act together Ford!
They don't have to send the newest guy with no training.
Another post the guy arrived without a formatted USB drive, which means package not downloaded yet either.
Yeah - all could have been done at the dealership while they did one onsite for training.
They chose not too.
Your guy - who knows if experienced or not - someone may have been on vacation.
It's your dealer. They are only getting paid so much for this job - if they can use their cheapest person, may they can make money on it.
Until their shortsightedness causes a bad module upgrade, then a tow to the dealership if done remotely, wipes out any profit or breaking even, and now they may have to use one of the more expensive guys back at the shop anyway!
