Day 3 and I’m absolutely in love with the new ride. I’ve dubbed it Bunny (on account of its color).

Thank you all for your advice!

One thing to note--this is NOT a knock on the Mav hybrid--the calculated mileages shown on the dash are usually a bit off from actual at-the-pump mileage figures. My actual mileage is about 3 mpg less than the truck's guesstimates. Still awesome, though!!

Everyone talking about going with the 2025 makes a great point! I think I still have the mindset of when I was looking back when the Mav was harder to get and fulfillment was taking such a long time - that I have to settle for a used one. Every time I went to a dealership they would say the price on the site was before the dealer markup and that left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

As it stands this is my first Ford vehicle. Looking forward to it. Anyone bought from Planet Ford out in Texas?
See what your bank/lender is offering as well with the recent interest rate being lowered by a quarter percent. It might adjust your loan interest rate down a wee bit. It all counts. We were just talking to our bank last week, and they were talking about adjusting their rates this week.

The best position is to be in the want rather than need category. I know Maverick-lust is tough to overcome. LOL We were prepared to walk when we were taking delivery because of the typical sales non-sense (sadly) that the price might not be the one we had agreed upon. It all worked out (I suspect it didn't hurt that I had kept all the pricing discussion emails).

Best wishes in your Maverick adventures.

When I was shopping. I went to dealership and asked about a new 2024 XL Hybrid. They quoted me about $4000 less than a 2025 XL AWD Hybrid. I figured having 4k tow, AWD, larger screen, and building it from scratch myself was well worth the 4K or so difference. I also wanted Velocity Blue over the previous darker blue I was offered on the 24'.
