Love my XLT Lux Hybrid. I'm getting pretty amazing gas mileage (lots of highway driving at 75mph and still around 43 mpg) even though my front bumper cover got broken by the dealer during the recall fix. Definitely a few complaints (ECO mode isn't default, phone calls not connecting properly) but it's a really great driving vehicle, packs really easy, and is really comfortable. I only waited 6 months for mine, very happy customer.

Going on 9 months with my Maverick. Zero issues. Fun to drive and versatile as hell. Absolutely no regrets. Best vehicle for the money in my opinion.

The majority of maverick drivers are enjoying the truck driving it and no longer spend much time on this forum…
you will regret not ordering it sooner
I'd say my only real regret with the Mav is not ordering it in September when I was waffling on buying a used truck and keeping my EV, or a Mav and selling my EV.

I absolutely love my mav.....besides the various mustangs I have owned my mav is the best vehicle/daily driver/work truck I have ever had....Ive had various pickups and tahoe/suburbans and this mav is my favorite....zero issues with it and zero regrets...
"Pickup" yes! Like a new puppy or dog, what kind of person regrets their new pickup? No pretentiousness, no pissing contest. Just honest utility, and that's it.

I am getting to order a 2023 Maverick and I am getting concerned about all the issues I am reading about. Anyone want to chime in and make me feel more confident about my potential purchase? How many of you are sorry you bought the vehicle.
Not one single issue here

I got my truck (XLT Ecoboost) in February, and after more than six months I am approaching 7,000 miles. Gas mileage is 27 mpg, absolutely NO issues at all. Purchase price all in was $32,000. Frankly, I have no idea why anyone would hesitate to order and purchase this truck. Ordered in early October 2021, and the dealer did not even think about marking the price up.

Waited just under a year for our hybrid XLT and there are no regrets. It is better than expected. After 3.5 months and ~3100 miles, the highest "initial customer satisfaction" I've ever had for a vehicle (I've owned about a dozen). Sure the interior is the quality you'd expect from a $24k pickup, but it is comfortable, has a smooth ride, plenty of room for any activities our family of 4 wants to do, and we're currently averaging 49.6mpg in mixed driving (not a typo). Pretty sure we'll be over 50 soon if I can keep my led-footed wife from using it for her highway commute.

We weren't looking for a pickup when I heard about the Maverick, but it's been great hauling all our bikes and camping gear around, while being more efficient than any other vehicle we've owned. And the price; we're in a financial position where the cost of a vehicle shouldn't be a concern, but I still view cars as simply a tool and do not like to spend a penny more than I need to (on anything) - $26,220 out-the-door was WAY less than anything remotely comparable.

I really like my Maverick like the rest of the people on here. Purchased a ecoboost Lariat AWD but I am disappointed in the fuel economy. I can't seem to average more then 23 MPG and I do a lot of back road and city driving. I don't drive it hard but the ecoboost isn't fuel efficient. I have even tried to drive with the cruise on backroads and I am still not seeing great mileage. It does only have 800 miles on it, but after two fill ups I wish I could say I average 25+ mpg.

In Feb I picked up a in between vehicle, Escape Hybrid AWD and regularly averaged 37 MPG. The Escape rode rougher and didn't handle as well. If I could do it over again I would have ordered the Hybrid even thought it's only FWD and I live in a cold climate the low end power of the electric motor and start and stop feature works way better in the Ford hybrids. Other then that it's a great little truck for the money!

Not me. My only remorse is that I didn't step up to the Lariat from the XLT. I'm at 17k miles and no real issues.

Personally im a bit disappointed, truck is super narrow(something I knew ahead of time), and its uncomfortable compared to my old equinox, the seats are really narrow and not bolstered well and not enough thigh support or ergonomics. Also the gas mileage is not as stated but i have a heavy foot, currently averaging about 20. The shifting dial is a huge pain, I hate it, and I'm finding the cheap plastics all scratch super easily inside and out. I'm just used to a more premium vehicle and its my own fault for buying a $20k truck instead of a $45k truck. Im just going to ride it out and probably buy the new Colorado in the next year or two. I compensated for the cheapness by upgrading to lariat but it still dont "love it" . Its still a fine vehicle, im just spoiled with several lux vehicles before this.

Eight months, zero issues, and no buyer's remorse...just lots and lots of buyer's satisfaction.
I've never bought a new vehicle without encountering at least a couple of nagging regrets by this point. Until now, that is. So there's that... ;)
